When you need to park in the city you will be advised on where to find free spaces. The Park Assist will then guide you into a suitable parking space once located. Its door-edge protectors will ensure that no harm comes between you and other cars.
When it comes to the KAMIQ it makes everything that little bit better. You can avoid traffic delays with Online Traffic Information in the navigation system. Keep the kids occupied with the folding tables and USB-C connectors.
The sleek design in no way weakens the KAMIQ’s practicality. Inside, you will find spacious interior, making it easy to transport what you need, whatever the situation. A SPORTY RIDE AT THE PRESS OF A BUTTON
With the KAMIQ, you can choose from the 1.0 and 1.5 TSI petrol engines or the 1.6 TDI diesel engine. They all feature direct injection and a turbocharger and, meet the latest emission standards. Another option is the naturally aspirated, 1.6 MPI petrol engine. The power ranges from 70 to 110kW, and is transmitted to the front wheels. You can choose from a 5- or 6- speed manual, a 6-speed automatic or 7-speed DSG gearbox. The 1.0 G-Tec/66 kW engine – combining petrol and CNG – is a cost-effective option.

The safety of you and your family is ŠKODA’s priority, as demonstrated by their 5-star EURO NCAP test result. Occupants are protected by up to 9 airbags that work in tandem with the seat belts. The Isofix and Top Tether systems are used to improve the protection of children in infant carriers. If an accident is unavoidable, passengers are prepared for impact by Crew Protect Assist, which closes the window and activates belt pretensioning. ESC, ABS and many other systems also keep an eye on the car when it’s on the move.

THE NEW SKODA KAMIQ REVIEW
Skoda Ireland bring their newest product to market this week in the shape of the all-new Kamiq. The compact crossover sits below the larger Karoq and Kodiaq in the range and will take on the likes of the Renault Captur and Nissan Juke in the burgeoning ‘Baby SUV’ segment.
It stacks up well against its competitors in terms of interior space with an impressive boot capacity of 363 litres and generous head and legroom for both front and rear seat passengers. With dimensions similar to that of the much-loved and recently discontinued Yeti, it is one of the largest cars in its segment.
Starting at just €21,300, it is also one of the most competitively priced, with a generous level of standard equipment and various different trim upgrades available. Entry level Active models feature a 6.5 inch touchscreen infotainment system and an impressive range of safety features such as lane keep assist and autonomous emergency braking.
Most customers are expected to upgrade to the bestselling Ambition model which, for a €2,000 premium will add 16 inch alloy wheels, cruise control, parking sensors and leather covered steering wheel. The top of the range Style model starts at €25,300 with additional styling upgrades including larger 17 inch wheels, full LED head and taillights, climate control and an upgraded 8 inch Bolero touchscreen infotainment system complete with a reversing camera.
